An Indiana native, Rachael Eckles moved to New York City after law school. There, she worked in the finance industry, her inspiration for the elusive Celeste Donovan world. She currently lives in Manhattan, where she is working on her next novel. Rachael donates a portion of her proceeds to local and global programs that empower women and girls through her foundation, Aphrodite Gives.

She launched the Aphrodite Books Author Concierge Program in July 2025 and is now working directly with aspiring authors to bring their dreams to bookshelves.

Her latest novel, Blind Trust, is on sale now and is the third in the Celeste Donovan Series.
